Wayne's work on paper (drawings/prints etc)
So, eventually I manage to combine a working camera with enough time to actually get some more images of current work up on here! Based on the brutalist architecture of the Southbank Centre, London, I have created a series of drawings (as well as photographs - see photographic work page for those). I love the interplay of shapes, the textures and the sense of interior and exterior space, and whilst I have uploaded these images, this is just a start! I am working on more this week, and further images will follow. You can see them in the flesh at the upcoming open studio/exhibition event at the studios over the weekend of May 5th-8th.
Inspired by people and places, and particularly those around me, I develop works on paper at MakeSpace Studios in Lambeth. I am also interested in the intricate, the mundane and the unusual, and draw beauty from the unexpected. If you are interested in owning one of these images as a unique piece of artwork, or might be interested in a commissioned piece of work, please contact me on waynecullum@hotmail.com
