Wayne's Photographic Work

My photography captures images from the every day around us, drawing attention to the unseen and unremarkable. I am particularly interested in the interplay between different textures, interior and exterior spaces, and am intrigued by the door ways and alley ways of our amazing city. If you are interested in owning one of these photographs as a unique piece of art work, please contact me on waynecullum@hotmail.com

Southbank Centre, London - I love the brutalist architecture of the South Bank centre, and am always inspired by the interjecting planes, the buzz of people and the blatant creativity of the area. I am working on a series of drawn and printed images inspired by these photographs too - I will update the blog as I add them to the "works on paper" page

Highgate Cemetery - A really interesting place of hidden, intimate spaces, sacred symbology, clear references to death contrasted with an abundance of life in a natural wilderness and an interesting play of light across surfaces.

On the odd occassion, I am even known to venture outside London! Obviously, only the best end up on here...

The Isle of Wight - Interesting beached objects, and impending darkness resulted in a set of quite atmospheric shots

St Lukes Church, Liverpool - This is, I think, what began my fascination with interior/exterior space. It is a bombed out church on a roundabout in Liverpool.
